Karissa Deane, ND
Dr. Karissa Deane is a licensed naturopathic physician, passionate about providing compassionate and individualized healthcare to her patients. Originally from New Hampshire, her lifelong passion for medicine began at an early age and has grown throughout her journey to becoming a Naturopathic Doctor. Dr. Deane’s philosophy combines a thorough understanding of conventional medicine, with a passion for naturopathic modalities, focusing on foundational aspects of health such as nutrition, movement, plant medicine and lifestyle changes.
Dr. Deane provides primary care and addresses general healthcare needs for all adults while specializing in women’s health, mental health, endocrine and chronic conditions. Additionally, Dr. Deane enjoys providing physical medicine to her patients. This includes therapies such as bone manipulations, soft tissue work and general bodywork. Dr. Deane has an extensive background and training in intravenous (IV) therapy and intramuscular (IM) injections for a wide variety of health concerns.
Dr. Deane earned her Bachelors of Science in Wellness and Alternative Medicine from Johnson State College (Now Northern Vermont University) in Johnson, Vermont. Afterwards, she moved to Oregon to obtain her Naturopathic Medical degree from the National University of Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon.
